Jimmy Uso’s recent absence from WWE television hasn’t gone unnoticed—and now we know why.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter on January 23, 2026, Jimmy Uso did not travel with WWE for their European tour due to a family situation, not an injury.
“Jimmy Uso didn’t go on the tour of Europe. It was believed to be due to a family situation and not an injury,” Meltzer reported.
This update clears up speculation surrounding his health following his last televised appearance on the December 29, 2025 episode of WWE Raw, where Jimmy and his brother Jey captured the WWE Tag Team Championships.
In contrast, Jey Uso was present at every Raw taping during the tour, even appearing during commercial breaks to interact with fans. Jey officially declared his entry into the 2026 Royal Rumble on the January 19 edition of RAW, leading to more questions about Jimmy’s status.
Despite fan confusion, especially with The Usos currently holding gold, there’s no indication of any creative fallout or angle-related absence. It appears to be a personal matter—one WWE has opted not to address publicly.
What do you think this means for the Usos’ tag team reign moving forward? Should WWE address the absence on TV? Let us know your thoughts.
