Je’Von Evans officially signed with WWE Raw on January 5, 2026 — but if you were watching the U.S. broadcast, you probably missed it. Now we know why.

During Monday Night Raw, a segment aired in select international markets showing Raw General Manager Adam Pearce handing Je’Von Evans his official contract, marking his full-time move to the red brand. However, this moment never aired in the U.S., leaving many fans wondering what happened.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE deliberately chose to keep the segment off the main U.S. TV feed. The reason? They want to make it a YouTube exclusive.

That decision falls in line with WWE’s ongoing strategy of creating viral, platform-specific content — and a breakout star like Evans fits right into that model. By holding the segment for YouTube, WWE can control the presentation, optimize it for views, and build Evans’ digital footprint ahead of his Raw run.

The 21-year-old prospect has already made several appearances on the main roster recently. Most notably, he teamed with TNA star Leon Slater to take on AJ Styles and Dragon Lee at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, 2025 — a match that had people talking.

Evans joins a growing list of NXT call-ups, including Trick Williams and Jordynne Grace, who officially debuted on SmackDown during the January 9 episode.

While U.S. viewers didn’t get to see Evans ink his deal live, fans can expect WWE to roll out the footage soon across digital channels — with full branding and spotlight treatment.

Do you think WWE made the right call holding Je’Von Evans’ signing for YouTube? Or should they have aired it on Raw? Let us know in the comments — and don’t forget to hit that share button.
