AEW higher-ups are taking serious notice of Andrade—and it’s starting to affect his booking behind the scenes.

According to a January 30, 2026 Self Made Session on Self Made Pro, Andrade’s status in AEW is shifting rapidly due to how well he’s performing. What started as a return with minimal hype is now turning into a potential main-event run.

“Andrade’s booking is up in the air and it’s changing on the fly, but for a good reason,” the report revealed. “It’s partially changing on the fly because he’s impressing everybody. People are saying, ‘Hold on, this guy is a main-event star.’”

That insight paints a clear picture: Andrade has been delivering at such a high level that plans are being re-evaluated mid-stream. AEW, known for its long-term story planning, is adjusting things to accommodate his rising momentum.

“So yeah, what I can tell you is that Andrade is rapidly raising his profile in the eyes of the people who run AEW. That’s what I can tell you,” the report concluded.

Andrade’s recent run backs it up. He’s picked up wins over Angelico, Magnus, and scored a major victory against Swerve Strickland on the January 28 edition of AEW Dynamite. It’s no surprise the company is now rethinking how far he can go.

While Andrade previously talked about feeling “stuck” in WWE, his AEW momentum seems anything but. This Self Made report shows he could be on a fast track toward AEW’s upper card—maybe even gold.
