Brock Lesnar is back in WWE, but when did the ball get rolling?
Cody Rhodes beat John Cena in an amazing match to cap off this year’s biggest party of the summer. Then, Brock Lesnar returned during WWE SummerSlam 2025. August 4’s RAW saw a lot of SummerSlam fallout. This also included answering a big question about Brock Lesnar.
Michael Cole revealed during the second hour of the show that he spoke to Triple H about Brock Lesnar. He then revealed what The Game told him about The Beast Incarnate’s WWE return.
“Earlier today, I had a chance to sit down with WWE CEO Nick Khan and WWE Chief Content Officer, Triple H and I asked them a simple question: ‘When was it determined that Brock Lesnar would return to WWE?'”
“They told me that they reached out to Brock a number of weeks ago and said, ‘We believe that it’s time to come home.’ Brock Lesnar said he’d do it, and here we are.”
Only time will tell what happens next for Brock Lesnar. He will make a big impression on the roster, whatever he does. Odds are, The Beast Incarnate will make a pretty paycheck as a stop on John Cena’s retirement.
