Fans freaked out after Kit Wilson walked out solo on WWE SmackDown, rocking a new theme song and no sign of tag partner Elton Prince.

The Halloween edition of the show sparked wild speculation online — and even a misleading report from SE Scoops — that Pretty Deadly had broken up. But now, a new update shuts that all down.

According to Fightful Select, there’s no breakup in sight. In fact, they’re hearing the exact opposite.

“We’re told that whenever Elton Prince returns from injury, there's a high likelihood that Pretty Deadly will be reunited.”

That should put an end to the nonsense that started after Wilson’s solo match against Carmelo Hayes. With Prince absent due to an injury suffered back on the May 2nd episode of SmackDown, some fans and media jumped the gun. When Wilson came out alone, SE Scoops ran with the story that the team had “seemingly broken up.” That triggered a flood of online posts assuming it was over — all without WWE making a single announcement.

But Kit Wilson didn’t leave fans hanging. After the show, one viewer asked him directly on Twitter, “twin did you break up with elton” — and Wilson wasted no time shutting it down.

“I’ll never break up with that man.”

There you have it. Pretty Deadly isn’t dead — they’re just on pause while Elton Prince recovers. And when he’s back, the tag team is expected to pick up right where they left off.

Do you think WWE should revamp Pretty Deadly when Elton Prince returns, or should they keep the act the same? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know where you stand.
