What You Didn’t See on SmackDown Live This Week

One of our correspondents at Tuesday’s SmackDown tapings passed along the following notes:

* Becky Lynch faced WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Carmella before SmackDown. Carmella got the victory after connecting with a clothesline from the second rope and rolling her up for the pin.

* The entire upper deck was taped off which means the capacity was well short of full. There were probably around 5000 people in attendance.

* AJ Styles defended the WWE Championship title in the dark match main event against Nakamura. Cesaro & Sheamus interfered which brought out Gallows and Anderson for the save. The three faces posed after the apparent no contest.
