The “We Want Truth” movement made its way to TNA. During Against All Odds on June 6, 2025, fans at the Mullett Arena in Tempe, Arizona broke out into loud “We Want Truth” chants during the TNA World Tag Team Championship match between The Nemeths and The Rascalz.
The unexpected moment came just before Nic and Ryan Nemeth secured the win to retain their titles. As the match unfolded, chants demanding R-Truth echoed throughout the arena, continuing a week-long trend that’s already disrupted WWE programming on RAW, NXT, and SmackDown.
The chants didn’t appear to be acknowledged by commentary, but they were loud enough to be picked up during the broadcast. It’s the latest sign that fans are unrelenting in their demand for R-Truth, regardless of the promotion or the storyline.
While Against All Odds was airing, over in Bakersfield, California, WWE SmackDown was dealing with the same outcry. During a major in-ring segment involving John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, and Logan Paul, the Bakersfield crowd erupted with “We Want Truth” chants as Cena stood in the ring. Cena fired back directly at the audience:
“You can’t handle the truth!”
“You chant for truth, but you’re all pathetic liars.”
“That’s why you’re losers. I’ll never be back in Bakersfield.”
The chants at SmackDown were so intense they nearly drowned out the segment’s audio—mirroring the unfiltered energy fans brought to TNA’s live event.
Neither WWE nor TNA has issued any official response to the coordinated chants, but the movement is clearly gaining traction across company lines. What began as a protest inside WWE arenas has now taken root in rival promotions.
Will the “We Want Truth” chants force any company to respond? And how do you feel about the movement showing up in TNA? Let us know in the comments—we want your take.
