Wade Barrett has been away from WWE television for the past couple of weeks due to personal reasons. With WWE Wrestlepalooza taking place this week, Barrett’s status for the event has been revealed.

According to PWInsider, Wade Barrett is listed internally to work Wrestlepalooza on Saturday in Indianapolis, following SmackDown on Friday in Toledo. Barrett has been off WWE television for several weeks, a break he requested himself.

“Wade Barrett is listed internally for the WWE broadcast team this weekend in Indianapolis. Barrett has been off TV for several weeks at his own request.”

There was a lot of drama surrounding Wade Barrett’s status after reports claimed he was removed from his role as a main roster commentator, which Barrett wasted no time in debunking.

WWE Wrestlepalooza is already one of the most anticipated events of the weekend, with big matches like CM Punk and AJ Lee vs. Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, along with Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena.
