Dustin Rhodes and The Von Erichs (Ross and Marshall Von Erich) captured the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Titles back at AEW Battle of the Belts XI, but the Von Erichs haven’t been seen on ROH television for the past couple of months due to injury and now Tony Khan has provided an update on the Von Erichs’ return status.
While speaking during the media call for ROH Final Battle, Tony Khan provided an update on the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championships and The Von Erichs. He shared that Ross Von Erich will be returning soon after a longer-than-expected recovery but reassured fans that everything is on track. Khan also confirmed that the Six-Man Titles will be making their return in the near future.
Dustin Rhodes and The Von Erichs last competed as a trio during the September 25th edition of Ring of Honor’s weekly show, where they were able to retain their ROH Six-Man Tag Team Titles against The Premier Athletes.
This news comes as a relief for fans eagerly awaiting the return of the Von Erichs and the reemergence of the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championships. While no exact timeline has been given, fans will have to wait and see when the Von Erichs make their return to the ring, as there’s no doubt excitement to see them back in action and remind the world once again why they are two of the best in-ring competitors in Ring of Honor.
