Russo says that when we saw a backstage look at Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn’s locker room all he could picture happening inside was Owens eating potato chips and Zayn playing video games. Bolin says that he just doesn’t see Owens as a main event player, and if he was running WWE he’d fine Owens every week until he showed up to work in better shape. In terms of Owens’ in-ring work, Bolin says it’s “…not bad for a fat Canadian”.
Bolin believes that WWE has two huge stars in Nakamura & Asuka, but they’ve yet to prove that they can book Nakamura correctly on the main roster. He spoke with Steve Austin recently who echoed those thoughts, saying WWE’s booking is ruining Nakamura.
Bolin asks Russo what he thinks is wrong with Dolph Ziggler right now. Russo says that Ziggler’s current gimmick sucks, and a much better gimmick would be something that’s based around the fact that he had sex with Amy Schumer.
