A clip of Jason Powell presents him saying that he really doesn’t want to see Great Khali return to action in a WWE ring. Russo says that this is a very selfish thing to say. Wrestling is a business, and when Russo saw Khali return at Battleground he was happy for him because Khali was making a payday. Why would someone want to take paydays away from a professional in any field?
This week, one of Wade Keller’s co-hosts said that Big Cass is just another tall, big slug in a time when tall, big slugs don’t get over. Russo says that just because this guy doesn’t like tall guys that doesn’t mean they can’t get over. He points out that guys like Andre The Giant, Big Show, Undertaker, Kane and plenty more have made millions of dollars in the business.
A final clip of Meltzer presents him talking about the return of Finn Balor’s ‘Demon’. He assumes we’ll see the ‘Demon’ return at SummerSlam, but it’s going to feel rushed at this point. Russo laughs and points out that we haven’t see the ‘Demon’ since last year’s SummerSlam. It has literally been a full year, and Meltzer thinks this return is going to feel rushed.
