Vince Russo’s The Brand Recap – RAW/Smackdown Analysis, Cena’s A Pro, Why Beat Jinder? More!

Russo doesn’t even know how to analyze the set up for Jason Jordan’s squash match. It’s evident to Russo that WWE wanted to book a squash match here but they tried to come up with a creative way to do it. He says there’s no way to glorify a squash match, and it’s hard to sit through a match when you already know the finish before it starts.

Vito says this entire storyline is not believable in his opinion. In addition to that, WWE has put Jordan in an inappropriate position because he’s not ready for the spot they’ve put him in. Vito thought Jordan looked sloppy and was rushing during this squash match, and he’s just not ready to be leading other guys through matches.

Russo says that WWE has absolutely killed Bayley since her debut on the main roster. People were speaking about Bayley like she had the potential to be the next John Cena while she was working in NXT, but this hasn’t transferred over to the main roster. Vito agrees and says that Bayley needs to turn heel and begin a feud with Sasha Banks. Most people would think that Banks would turn heel to begin this feud, but Vito thinks Bayley will be the one to turn.

Vito also thinks we could see another heel turn during the Big Cass/Big Show match at SummerSlam. He thinks Enzo should turn heel and reunite with Big Cass, where he’d be Big Cass’ manager moving forward. He thinks people would boo both of them out of the building and it’d be one of the greatest heel turns of all time.
