Vince Russo’s The Brand Recap – RAW & SD Live Analysis, Owens Vs. Zayn AGAIN, Reuniting The Shield A Massive Failure, More!

Russo says that WWE has nothing for Elias creatively and that’s too bad, because they have something special with that guy. Apollo Crews is another competitor who seems to be stuck in a rut right now. Russo says he met and spoke with Willie Mack while travelling for his indie gig last weekend, and Mack said WWE reportedly picked Crews over him a few years ago.

Russo says that while WWE certainly picked Crews because of his body, Mack oozes charisma and that’s something that can’t be taught.

He says he skipped Finn Balor’s entire promo because he couldn’t care less about Finn Balor. He adds that WWE should be embarrassed that the have someone as small as Balor on their roster, and no amount of makeup or paint can change that.

Russo says that although WWE tried to give Strowman his heat back on RAW by having him attack and destroy Curt Hawkins, Strowman failed to get the job done 24 hours earlier against the company’s best. Having him beat up Hawkins does nothing for Strowman because when he stepped in the ring with the best he couldn’t get the job done. Russo calls this ‘piss-poor writing’.

Russo points out that Mickie James looked drop-dead gorgeous on Monday Night RAW this week. He knows James and he doesn’t want this to come off the wrong way; he’s simply pointing out that she looked absolutely beautiful, like an A-list actress. He believes that WWE should give James one more run with the Women’s Title because she’s a reliable veteran who can get the job done.
