After Tony Khan publicly praised Russo’s work in JCW, Vince Russo jumped on Twitter on March 30, 2026 with a response that quickly escalated things—and even pitched a potential collaboration. Russo started by acknowledging Khan’s comments, making it clear he appreciated the recognition—but he didn’t stop there.
“Tony Khan—I got it CONFIRMED on a Good Word that you REALLY DO enjoy JCW Lunacy!!! While that’s cool and much, much appreciated—give me a follow back.”
From there, Russo shifted gears and made a direct pitch to Khan, suggesting they could work together creatively—and not just for fun, but with a much bigger goal in mind as they could blow WWE into oblivion: “Let’s talk some creative. Let’s do something that will blow the WWE INTO OBLIVION!!!”
He also pointed out that despite Khan being aware of his reputation over the years, the two have never actually worked together—and hinted that could change. Russo closed things out by pushing for a collaboration that would grab attention across the wrestling world.
“You’ve heard about me over the years, but you’ve never had the opportunity to get to know me. LET’s GIVE THEM SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT!!!”
The response instantly turned a simple exchange into something much more interesting, with Russo openly calling for a partnership that could shake things up creatively.
