Vince Russo just lit up Twitter—and he’s not backing down from his shots at CM Punk, Triple H, or WWE’s creative process.

After JCW Lunacy opened this week with Russo debuting the new JCW Lunacy Heavyweight Title and taking jabs at both CM Punk and Triple H, the segment quickly went viral. Russo drew immediate attention for saying he’d be a better champion than Punk and didn’t need to wrestle in a T-shirt because he’s “not 50 years old.” He also blamed Triple H for poaching Matt Cardona back to WWE, forcing JCW to vacate its top title. But that was only the beginning.

On January 30, 2026, Russo took to Twitter to respond to the firestorm his comments caused overnight—and he didn’t hold back. In full-on Vic Venom mode, he fired off at critics who claim he’s bitter about WWE not rehiring him:

“To all the F-N MARKS out there who are so F'N BRAIN DEAD that they still say ‘Vince Russo is BITTER because the @WWE doesn’t hire him.’”

He followed up with a savage takedown of WWE’s current creative process, referencing the new WWE Unreal show:

“Look at me opening up last night's episode of @jcwlunacy and then click on that Dreadin', Suck-the-Life out of you, Political Cesspool, Dreary, Depressing, I Wanna Take My Own Life, Get the White Boards, ‘Creative Meeting’ highlighted on @WWE ‘Unreal’, and then tell me again how BITTER I am to not be in that F'N ‘ROOM OF DEATH’.”

“Bro—on my LATE MOTHER—I’d rather have my BALLS sawed off with a DULL HACKSAW than to ever have to sit in that ‘Black Hole of Incompetence’ for 9 seconds.”

“So, as the GREAT Vic Venom would say . . . ‘BITE ME’.”

It’s clear Russo doesn’t regret a word—and if anything, he’s doubling down on his anti-WWE stance while pushing JCW into the spotlight. With James Storm vs. Mr. Anderson set to crown a new JCW Lunacy Champion next week, all eyes are now on how far Russo plans to take this war of words.
