Vince McMahon found himself in the middle of a scary situation last week after being involved in a multi-car accident in Connecticut. The crash occurred around 9 AM on Thursday—just hours before news broke about Hulk Hogan’s death.
According to the official police crash report via TMZ, McMahon was driving his 2024 Bentley northbound on Route 15 in Westport when he rear-ended a 2023 BMW 430. The impact forced both vehicles into a wooden-beam guardrail in the median. Things escalated further when debris from the wreck scattered into the opposite lane, striking a third vehicle—a southbound Ford Fusion.
The force of the collision was intense enough to trigger the airbags in both McMahon’s Bentley and the BMW. Fortunately, all three drivers were wearing seatbelts, and no injuries were reported. Still, the damage was substantial: all vehicles had to be towed from the scene, and roughly 30 feet of the guardrail was destroyed.
McMahon was cited by authorities with a misdemeanor summons for reckless driving and following too closely. He’s now scheduled to appear in court late next month to address the charges.
Despite the crash, McMahon released a public tribute later that day to honor Hulk Hogan, whose passing shook the wrestling world. “Hulk Hogan was the greatest WWE Superstar of ALL TIME, someone who was loved and admired around the world,” McMahon said. “He was a trailblazer, the first performer who transitioned from being a wrestling star into a global phenomenon.”
This wreck adds another wild chapter to Vince McMahon’s already chaotic year. From corporate shakeups to legal drama and now a smashed Bentley, the wrestling mogul just can’t seem to stay out of the headlines. One thing’s for sure: all eyes will be on that courtroom next month to see what comes next.
