Tony Khan isn’t slowing down the momentum coming out of AEW All In Texas. Just hours after confirming a trios match for AEW Dynamite on July 16, he’s now added a major segment involving AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm.
Storm will address the crowd in Chicago just days after defeating TBS Champion Mercedes Moné in a bout that’s already being called one of the biggest women’s matches AEW has ever featured. In a tweet confirming the update, Khan wrote:
“After her win vs TBS Champion Mercedes Moné in a bout between all-time greats, World Champion Timeless Toni Storm makes her victory speech TOMORROW!”
The segment joins a match featuring the Death Riders—Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta—going up against AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page, Mark Briscoe, and Powerhouse Hobbs in a trios showdown. It’s all going down live from the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago and will air on TBS and HBO Max.
So far, no additional matches have been confirmed, but with AEW, surprises are always part of the package—and Chicago crowds are known to eat it up.
Between Storm’s first words since her massive win and the violence promised by the Death Riders, AEW Dynamite is shaping up to be a must-see event. Will Toni Storm reveal what’s next for her title reign? And could someone step up to challenge her on the spot? Only time will tell.
What are you expecting from Toni Storm’s victory speech—and who should challenge her next for the AEW Women’s World Championship? Drop your thoughts below and let us know what you’re hyped to see in Chicago.
