WWE is an ever-changing company and there are lots of people who eventually leave the promotion, leaving room for others to get hired for roles in the company. With that said, a longtime WWE executive has parted ways with the company.

This week saw a notable departure from WWE’s executive team, with Kristin Altman being let go. According to a report from PWInsider Elite, Altman, who had been with WWE since 2007, was dismissed earlier this week.

Altman started her career with WWE as a receptionist and moved into Talent Relations in 2008. Over the years, she held various positions with increasing responsibility, ultimately reaching the role of Vice President of Talent Relations Operations.

Altman’s LinkedIn profile indicates that her most recent title was Vice President, where she was responsible for developing and managing WWE Talent’s Professional Development Program. This program included educational resources in areas such as money management, media training, continuing education, and life skills seminars.

“Develop and manage WWE Talent’s Professional Development Program to assist with our Talent’s personal and professional growth beyond the wrestling ring. Provide educational tools and resources in Money Management, Media Training, Continuing Education, Language Courses, Life Skills Seminars, Rookie Success Initiatives and more.”

Altman’s career progression saw her advance from Senior Manager to Director, then Senior Director, and finally to Vice President in June 2021. As previously reported, Longtime WWE creative writer John Swikata was promoted to lead writer for WWE SmackDown as well. WWE is also hiring for a new “Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs – Talent Relations & Talent Development” position, so we’ll have to wait and see if both positions will be filled eventually.
