Vanity Project Wins Tag Team Titles During 2/24 WWE NXT

The February 24 episode of NXT was loaded from top to bottom with title matches. The Tag Team Titles took centerstage in a big way. The opening match of the night saw the tag team titles up for grabs in an outright war.

The tag team division is heating up on WWE NXT this week as the NXT Tag Team Championship is on the line. Champions DarkState, Osiris Griffin and Saquon Shugars, defend against the flashy challengers known as The Vanity Project, made up of Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes.

DarkState has built its reign on power and presence, but the newcomers from EVOLVE have really impressed fans. It didn’t take long into this match before fans were pelting the ring with chants, and DarkState was showing off their impressive strength.

There was one point where it looked like DarkState was going to win, but Jackson Drake stopped the count with a foot on the ropes.

Then Tony D’Angelo showed up and took out DarkState. This led the Vanity Project to get the pinfall and win the titles. This was a shocking ending, but it also let DarkState know that Tony D’Angelo meant business when he promised to be a thorn in the stable’s side.
