Valkyria Blasts Becky Lynch for Disappearing from WWE While She Carried the Division

Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch have been feuding for the past two weeks and it all started after Lynch returned at WrestleMania 41 after a very long absence. In fact, Valkyria has now pointed out how she has defended her Women’s Intercontinental Title more than Lynch has been on television.

While speaking to The Takedown, Lyra Valkyria talked about her relationship with Becky Lynch. She said Becky used to be supportive back in their NXT days and gave her a lot of advice. But when Lyra moved up to the main roster, that support stopped.

Lyra Valkyria noted that once she started doing more in WWE and Becky took time off, things changed. Lyra mentioned how she’s defended her title more times in the past year than Becky Lynch has even been on television.

“She liked being the idol. Even as far back as NXT, she was very helpful and gave a lot of advice. And then when she came down to NXT later, she liked being the one that was in the higher position. And then I came up to the main roster and that advice and that warmth just disappeared. And then I started to do a lot of cool things and she took some time off. I defended this title more than she’s been at work this past year.”

Lyra also added that Lynch is great at getting herself big opportunities, even if it hurts others. She doesn’t think Becky likes that she is now on Lynch’s level. Lyra made it clear she’s not just a fan and won’t let anyone push her around. She’s done being quiet and holding back.

“But look, Becky’s great. She’s talked herself into every opportunity she’s ever had, no matter who that hurts. That’s what she’s always been good at. I don’t think she likes that I’m now on the same platform and you saw on Monday that I’m not going to be stood on. I’m not here to be a super fan.

I learned I’m not here to be humble. I’m not here to be ‘okay, yeah, whatever you think is best.’ Like, I don’t care. I’ve seen people try. I’ve seen how people get ahead and I’m not having it. So at Backlash, I’m going to prove that.”

Lyra Valkyria made it clear that her Women’s Intercontinental Title match against Becky Lynch at Backlash is very personal to her. Therefore, fans will have to wait and see if she can prove to the world that she is the better Irish WWE Superstar once and for all, since she definitely has a chip on her shoulder night.
