Val Venis isn’t easing up on Brody King, as the former WWE star made it clear that he believes King isn’t a draw at all.

After previously blasting King over his “Abolish ICE” shirt and going after Mick Foley for supporting “F*** ICE” chants at AEW shows, the former WWE star jumped back on Twitter on February 17, 2026. This time, instead of politics, Venis targeted King’s star power. He wrote: “Ain’t nobody paying to see Brody King. They all paid to see MJF. And that is not saying much.”

That’s a direct shot — not just at King, but at AEW’s drawing ability overall. By name-dropping MJF, Venis made it clear he believes fans are showing up for bigger names, not King.

This comes just days after Venis criticized King’s political messaging in his “Abolish ICE” t-shirt. In his earlier tweet, Venis dismissed the shirt as performative rather than meaningful.

“🔴 Brody King wearing ‘Abolish ICE’ on a Tshirt isn’t justice; it’s cosplay. Yelling at institutions, assaulting other humans, destroying property, doesn’t protect human beings. DUE PROCESS IS WHAT PROTECTS HUMAN BEINGS!”

So far, Brody King hasn’t responded publicly to the latest jab. Whether he fires back or lets it slide, Val Venis has made sure the conversation stays alive.

Do you think Val Venis has a point about who AEW fans are really paying to see, or is this just another unnecessary shot? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
