With WWE SummerSlam Saturday just hours away, all eyes have been on Seth Rollins and whether the injured star might shock fans with a Money in the Bank cash-in. Now, a new update has made the situation a bit clearer.
According to Fightful Select, people within WWE are not expecting a cash-in from Rollins tonight. The report noted that even if WWE had a surprise in store, it would be kept very close to the vest to avoid leaks.
Rollins has been sidelined since suffering an injury, which has fueled online speculation that the situation might be a work. Many fans have theorized that the company could be hiding a huge SummerSlam moment involving the former champion. However, the latest backstage word suggests that’s not the plan for tonight’s show.
The 2025 WWE SummerSlam Saturday lineup remains stacked, with Roman Reigns & Jey Uso set to open the night against Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed, Tiffany Stratton defending her Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill, and CM Punk challenging GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Title in the main event.
