WWE SmackDown’s January 24 episode in Austin, Texas, had its fair share of action, but one of the biggest moments of the night came off-camera when The Undertaker made a surprise backstage appearance.

Before the show went off the air, WWE posted footage on social media of The Deadman gifting Academy Award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey a custom WWE Legacy Title.

“From one Texas Longhorns fan to another!” WWE’s official Twitter account wrote, tagging both McConaughey and Undertaker. The footage showed the WWE Hall of Famer presenting the custom championship to the Hollywood star, who was all smiles as he accepted the belt. WWE even dropped a link for fans to grab their own WWE Legacy Title, capitalizing on the unexpected moment.

McConaughey, a longtime wrestling fan, looked right at home with the gold in his hands. Whether this was just a cool backstage interaction or a tease of something more remains to be seen, but with WWE gearing up for the Royal Rumble, you never know what surprises could be on the horizon.
