The Undertaker might be a wrestling legend known for his dark mystique, but he showed fans a rare playful side at Fanatics Fest 2025—and it involved a basketball, a couple of kids, and a lot of charm.

In a clip shared online, the WWE Hall of Famer was spotted signing a Wilson basketball for two young fans. While doing so, the Deadman joked about his “baller” past, clearly enjoying the lighthearted moment.

With a grin, he told the kids: “You know, I used to be a baller back in the day. I did. I was so good that I spent 38 years in wrestling. I don’t think I ever got to sign a basketball. That’s how good I was. There you go, guys.”

The encounter marked a softer Undertaker than fans are used to—a long way from the eerie mystique he carried throughout his decades in WWE.

This moment comes on the heels of other viral appearances at Fanatics Fest, including John Cena’s six-ball toss fail and hilarious jab at his own punching power. But seeing The Undertaker joke with kids and embrace his inner storyteller was something special.

Whether he’s burying opponents or busting out dad jokes, Undertaker remains larger than life—and fans can’t get enough of seeing these glimpses behind the character.
