The Godfather and The Undertaker weren’t just legends in the ring—they lived large outside it too. And according to Godfather himself, one wild night with The Deadman cost them both big time.

In a new interview with EsportsBets, The Godfather looked back on their infamous hangouts as part of the backstage BSK crew, which included Yokozuna, Rikishi, Savio Vega, and the Godwins. But when it came to partying, Godfather said it was usually just him and Taker—and they had their routine.

“80% of the time Taker and I would probably be at a strip club. We’d have our own section. We would have a good time, we would spend a lot of money. The bar would close, everybody would leave, and they’d usually let us stay in there and hang out a little bit longer, and get a little bit more private.”

He explained that strip clubs back then were the safest spaces for wrestlers to unwind without being mobbed.

“It was a different time back then. There was no social media, no laptops, no cell phones, they just came out with beepers. The whole card would go to strip clubs every night… it was a good place to hang out and not get harassed, to be able to be yourself.”

But their wildest moment wasn’t at a club—it was at the casino. And it cost them a lot more than lap dances.

“Casinos weren’t my thing, but one night it was my thing, and I think we both pulled out like 50Gs or something, and lost all that money. By the time we sobered up the next day, he’s like, did you see your American Express bill? And I’m like, yeah, I did, man. That was the one and only time I did something stupid like that.”

Godfather admitted the night spiraled fast, with the two betting thousands at a time.

“We were betting a thousand, two, five thousand dollars, $10,000 hands and s**t.”

It was a different era in WWE—a time before social media, when legends could let loose without the world watching. Godfather’s stories give a glimpse into how wild things really got backstage and beyond.
