While being inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame class on Thursday, UFC Co-Founder Art Davie took a shot at the company’s decision to bring in former WWE Superstar CM Punk.

During Art’s speech, he told stories about some of his worst business ventures and booking decisions and compared his decision-making to UFC President Dana White trying to turn CM Punk into a professional fighter.

“Look, it wasn’t one of my better ideas, but hey — you guys got mad at Dana for signing CM Punk too!”

Regarding Punk’s status with UFC, it remains unknown what his next move after his recent loss to Mike Jackson. We will keep you updated if we hear anything.
