Tyler Breeze just turned up the heat on WWE return speculation, revealing that a full-time comeback isn’t off the table—and in his words, it’s “very very possible.” But the decision isn’t up to him.
Breeze remains one of WWE’s most unique cases: an active wrestler still under WWE contract, yet not competing full-time. Instead, he splits his time between writing for NXT, hosting Fanatics signings, and running UpUpDownDown alongside Xavier Woods. But his recent in-ring return at NXT Homecoming on September 16, where he challenged Ethan Page for the North American Championship, sparked instant fan chatter about whether “Prince Pretty” could once again be a full-time fixture in WWE.
During an interview with Reel Appreciation, Breeze addressed the possibility head-on. He said he’s open to the idea—but the ball is entirely in WWE’s court.
The context for his comments came when he was asked directly whether fans could realistically expect him back in the ring full-time. Breeze didn’t hesitate to lay it out clearly. He added that if WWE approached him with a creative direction or spot, he wouldn’t turn it down.
“I’m not sure, I mean that’s obviously not my call. If there was ever a spot or an idea and they said, ‘Hey man are you interested in this?’ Yeah I don’t see why not.”
Breeze also emphasized that he’s not retired, not out of shape, and not done wrestling by any stretch—he’s still very much active on the scene.
“I’m still active, I’m still wrestling around just doing all sorts of stuff so it’s very very possible but it’s up to them if they want to have me.”
Right now, WWE is stacked with returning names and new signings, but Breeze brings something different: experience, versatility, and a following that never stopped rooting for him. Whether WWE pulls the trigger remains the only question left. Tyler Breeze sounds ready. WWE just has to say the word.
