Tyler Breeze isn’t closing the door on a return to NXT or WWE—in fact, he’s making it clear that his in-ring career is far from over.
During an interview with Monopoly Events’ Jamal Niaz at For The Love of Wrestling 2025, Breeze was asked about possibly stepping back into an NXT ring, and his answer left plenty of room for speculation.
“Yeah, I mean, it’s kind of funny because sometimes, I feel very retired, and then other times, I’m like, you know what? I’m not, I’m not really. It’s just a matter of timing for certain things.”
Breeze, who was released from WWE in 2021, took a break from full-time wrestling but made his return to the ring in 2023 while also working as a writer for NXT. Now, he’s keeping his options open.
“So I stopped wrestling full-time in 2021. I was kind of just enjoying life a little bit, and then I had a kid, I had my first kid, so I was just enjoying being a dad, being a husband, stuff like that. So branching back out, getting in on the indies a little bit, it’s still very much alive. So yeah, I’m not done. I’m not done. So where it comes out, where you see me next is kind of wait to be seen, but it’s just a matter of time.”
Last year, Breeze even hinted that he would return to WWE full-time if the right opportunity came along. With Nathan Frazer recently expressing interest in facing Breeze and Fandango, it’s clear that the door is wide open for a potential return.
