Two of WWE NXT’s rising names are about to showcase their talent on an international stage. Pro Wrestling NOAH confirmed that Charlie Dempsey and Harlem Lewis will appear at their September 23rd event inside the legendary Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

The event is set to feature the finals of the N-1 Victory tournament between Masa Kitamiya and Jack Morris, but fans will also get the added spotlight of seeing two NXT stars step into the NOAH ring. The promotion shared the announcement in Japanese, officially welcoming both men to the card.

“Two wrestlers from NXT in America to visit. We are pleased to announce that two wrestlers from NXT in America, Harlem Lewis and Charlie Dempsey, will be attending the Korakuen Hall event on September 23.”

For Dempsey, this is not his first time venturing into Japan. Earlier this year, he revealed to his No Quarter Catch Crew teammate Wren Sinclair at NXT Homecoming that he’d be heading overseas for a month. Back in January 2024, Dempsey competed for All Japan Pro Wrestling where he even challenged for the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship, proving he’s no stranger to testing himself against Japan’s best.

Harlem Lewis, meanwhile, is still in his rookie year as a professional wrestler. After gaining attention as part of the most recent season of WWE’s LFG series, he has been putting in work with EVOLVE while developing his craft. NOAH marks the biggest international opportunity of his young career so far.

This cross-promotion move continues WWE’s growing relationship with international wrestling companies while giving young talent a chance to expand their experience in front of new crowds.

Do you think Charlie Dempsey and Harlem Lewis will make a big impact in NOAH, or will this just be a learning experience for the NXT duo? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
