Two Names Seemingly Locked In for WarGames Match After Weeks of Uncertainty

WWE Survivor Series: WarGames is set for November 29 at Petco Park, but fans now have two names they can likely pencil into the WarGames match after weeks of speculation—Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

Triple H posted the official WarGames poster on November 3, and front and center were Breakker, Reed, and Paul Heyman—a major reveal considering the behind-the-scenes chaos surrounding the event’s creative direction.

The announcement follows a major shift on RAW, where both Breakker and Reed turned on Seth Rollins, attacking him in what looked like a major angle reset. Rollins had been seen with his arm in a sling following Crown Jewel, and it’s now believed he’ll be out of action until next year—taking him off the board for Survivor Series entirely.

With Rollins originally positioned as a key player in the men’s WarGames match, WWE was reportedly forced to pivot in a big way. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE’s initial creative direction for the event included two massive WarGames elimination matches.

“On the men’s side, the plan is for a reunited Bloodline to join forces with CM Punk. The babyface team is currently listed as Punk, Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, and Jey Uso, with a fifth mystery partner still undecided. Jimmy Uso and LA Knight are reportedly the frontrunners for that spot.”

“They’re expected to battle The Vision in a heel-heavy lineup featuring Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Brock Lesnar, and Austin Theory.”

With Rollins ruled out, the original plan featuring him leading The Vision is no longer happening. But the new WarGames poster confirms that Breakker and Reed remain in the mix, suggesting WWE has restructured the match with both men still playing major roles.

While the full card remains under wraps and no matches have been officially confirmed, this is the clearest indication yet that Breakker and Reed will represent a core part of the updated WarGames lineup.
