Two of WWE’s most respected veterans are stepping into mentor roles for the upcoming season of WWE LFG on A&E.
According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, Kevin Owens and Natalya have officially joined the cast of WWE LFG Season 3 as mentors. The show, which is currently filming, is undergoing some changes to its format — including the addition of more guest stars to freshen up the competition series.
Booker T and Bully Ray will return in their coaching roles, bringing back their Hall of Fame wisdom from the first two seasons. Owens and Natalya add more experience to the cast, both having earned reputations as locker room leaders with decades of experience combined.
Filming reportedly began this past week, though there’s no confirmed premiere date for Season 3 on A&E just yet.
Kevin Owens’ involvement comes shortly he posted a video in early November showing himself working out in the ring after undergoing successful neck surgery earlier this year — making his comeback to a coaching position all the more meaningful.
As for Natalya, her track record as a technician and trailblazer in WWE’s women’s division makes her an ideal addition to the show’s evolving format.
With a refreshed format, more guest appearances, and a loaded coaching staff, Season 3 of WWE LFG is shaping up to be its most competitive and star-powered installment yet.
