AEW Dynamite’s April 30 episode is still being talked about—but not just for what went down in the ring. According to a new report from, indie standouts Emily Hale and Brittany Jade were both spotted backstage at the show, fueling speculation about potential future involvement with All Elite Wrestling.

The report didn’t confirm exactly why the two were backstage, but it definitely caught some attention. “Indie wrestlers Emily Hale and Brittany Jade were backstage at this week’s AEW Dynamite episode,” Fightful Select noted, without offering further details.

Both women have made names for themselves on the independent circuit. Emily Hale has worked across numerous promotions and is known for her athletic style and presence in companies like SHINE and OVW. Brittany Jade, a rising star in her own right, has gained attention through GCW appearances and standout matches across the Southeast indie scene.

AEW has a history of scouting indie talent, often inviting unsigned performers to events for meetings, evaluations, or even dark matches. While there’s no official word on whether either Hale or Jade was there for a tryout or just a visit, the timing is interesting as AEW continues to grow its women’s division.

With names like Toni Storm, Jamie Hayter, and Julia Hart leading AEW’s current women’s roster, the door could be open for fresh talent to step in—and both Hale and Jade fit that bill.
