Two of AEW’s most noticeable absences just popped up in the same place — and it’s not backstage at Dynamite.

Britt Baker and Anna Jay were both spotted in San Francisco today, according to PWInsider. The timing is impossible to ignore, as the city is hosting Super Bowl LX festivities this weekend.

The sighting comes while both women remain completely off AEW television, despite very different levels of attention surrounding their situations.

Baker hasn’t wrestled in over a year, even though Tony Khan recently insisted she’s still “highly regarded” and will be back eventually — without offering any timetable. Anna Jay, meanwhile, is quietly nearing the end of her AEW contract, with no creative plans in place and growing speculation about her future.

Now, both are in the same city, on the same weekend, during one of the biggest media events of the year. There’s no indication the trip is wrestling-related. No AEW appearances are scheduled, no outside bookings have been announced, and PWInsider did not report any meetings taking place. Still, the optics are hard to miss: two popular AEW talents, both absent from TV, both suddenly visible — just not inside an AEW ring.

Super Bowl weekend has become a magnet for athletes, celebrities, and industry networking across entertainment and sports. Whether Baker and Anna Jay are there strictly as fans, for media obligations, or simply enjoying the weekend remains unclear.

Additionally, Harley Cameron posted footage on Twitter showing herself and Anna Jay together on the red carpet prior to the event, further confirming Anna Jay’s presence in San Francisco ahead of Super Bowl weekend.

Britt Baker also posted from the same red carpet event roughly nine hours earlier in the day, placing both women at the same Super Bowl–related function despite neither appearing on AEW television.
