Trish Stratus last competed at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event and since then, fans have been wondering when she’ll get involved in a program again. With Evolution 2 just around the corner, her status for the event has been revealed.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, WWE originally planned to announce Trish Stratus’ return, including showing graphics, before John Cena’s second promo on the June 13 episode of SmackDown. Although that segment was pulled, her return is still planned as the WWE Hall of Famer is expected to be involved in the upcoming WWE Evolution event.
“According to a source, the announcement of Trish Stratus’ return and accompanying graphics were set to air prior to John Cena’s 2nd promo of the night on the 6/13 episode of SmackDown. While that was scrapped, the return is still on the books with Stratus set to be part of WWE Evolution.”
The Evolution 2 Premium Live Event will be taking place on July 13, 2025, live from Atlanta, Georgia and fans are already expecting the show to be a masterpiece from top to bottom.
Trish Stratus was part of the Fanatics Fest last week, and obviously that made it clear she was still involved with WWE in a major way. We have also reported that the event is expected to feature a bigger card than other Premium Live Events, with 7-8 matches as well as a battle royal taking place.
While it’s not known what Trish Stratus will do at Evolution 2, her appearance at the Premium Live Event will definitely bring much-needed star power. Therefore, it remains to be seen what WWE will have planned for her in the end.
