WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus wasn’t about to stay silent after a fan tried to shame her for allegedly neglecting her role as a mother.
On January 19, 2026, the WWE Hall of Famer shared a new photo of herself in a stunning red dress on Twitter with the caption: “Been finding myself in red a lot these days .. might be my new colour for 2026 💋” — a harmless style post that sparked major attention.
But not everyone was there for the fashion. One follower took a hard left turn and accused Stratus of neglecting her family, saying: “Do you ever see your kids or do mom stuff? You are constantly getting your picture taken. So weird.”
That’s when Trish clapped back—hard. She explained that her work — including photo shoots and appearances — typically takes place during school hours and that she’s fully involved in her children’s lives every single day. She called out the fan’s comment as “weird” and asked if she should start posting every detail of her daily parenting routine to prove herself.
“I literally see them and do mom stuff every day… I usually ‘get my picture taken’ aka ‘work’ while they are in school. Would you prefer if I post me waking them up, giving them breakfast, driving them to school, picking them up, making dinner, taking them to practice, doing homework and putting them to bed instead?”
She went on to note that she does regularly post about her family life, even referencing her daughter’s birthday party, which she planned and hosted entirely by herself — from crafting decorations to assembling loot bags.
“PS I actually do post that kind of stuff on IG all the time. And if you so very interested in this type of content - I posted my daughter’s birthday party which I planned and hosted all by myself, including crafting their loots bags & decorations. So weird right? Feel free to check it out JD.”
This comes just as talk of a potential in-ring return for Stratus continues to build. As reported by Fightful Select, sources within WWE and close to Stratus were surprised she didn’t wrestle in 2025 despite it being her 25th anniversary year. Sean Ross Sapp noted that while WWE had discussed doing something to mark the milestone, plans never came together — but Stratus remains open to returning in 2026 and continues to pitch ideas.
Whether it’s in the ring or online, Trish Stratus isn’t letting anyone question her dedication — as a performer or as a mother, and Stratus’ real fans wouldn’t have it any other way.
