WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is soaking up her milestone year, but she’s not ruling out more matches before 2025 wraps. The seven-time Women’s Champion says her return was meant to be a celebration—and it might not be over yet.
Speaking on Notsam Wrestling, Stratus opened up about what this 25th year in WWE means to her and how matches like the Royal Rumble and her upcoming bout against Tiffany Stratton at Evolution are all part of the bigger picture.
“I kind of felt like this being my 25th year—my 25th anniversary year—it was a year of celebration. And that’s kind of how we talked about it, like, ‘Let’s do some cool stuff this year for your 25th year,’ you know? And that’s what we’ve done… we’ve had these moments—coming in at 25 at the Royal Rumble, Toronto was right around the corner, it made sense… And then here we are with now, love—like, this is a great place for us to face off at Evolution. It’s almost like it’s been perfectly written.”
But even though Evolution feels like the natural high point of her comeback run, Trish made it very clear that she’s not shutting the door on more appearances before the year ends.
“But, you know, I mean, we’re only—what—it’s only July, isn’t it? We’re barely halfway through. I always say, I literally have said, ‘If you guys want some more matches, just let me know. And if you don’t, then let me know too.’ I don’t care really about what those guys say.”
Trish’s comments reflect a mix of gratitude and defiance. She’s proud of what this run represents, but she’s also more than ready to keep the boots laced up if WWE wants more.
With Evolution just around the corner and the calendar far from finished, don’t be surprised if the WWE legend steps back in the ring again before the year’s over.
