Triple H is fired up about WWE’s massive move to ESPN — and he says the future is going to be even more explosive.

Earlier today, WWE officially announced its Premium Live Events will leave Peacock in 2026 and land on ESPN’s upcoming streaming service. The deal is already making headlines thanks to its $1.625 billion value, and now WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque is weighing in.

Speaking on ESPN’s Get Up, Triple H didn’t hold back when praising the new partnership and what it means for WWE’s biggest events.

“What we consider the worldwide leader in sports entertainment to be with the worldwide leader of sports and entertainment, ESPN, there’s nothing bigger. There’s no bigger opportunity for us than this right now. On top of that, to be in the Disney family, so to speak. We’re thrilled and can’t wait to get rolling.”

Triple H also drew comparisons between the scale of ESPN’s major sports coverage and WWE’s own larger-than-life shows — and he sees nothing but synergy ahead.

“From my point of view, nobody does large-scale massive events like ESPN. Super Bowl, all of it. It’s what you do, and it’s what we like to think we do better than anybody else on the planet. This is the perfect marriage. When we get together, things like WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble are going to be bigger than ever. They’re going to be more of a spectacle than they’ve ever been before. We’re going to light the world on fire.”

With the shift to ESPN’s $29.99-per-month platform, WWE is setting up its tentpole events to be positioned alongside some of the biggest spectacles in sports. That may mean a steeper price for fans — but according to Triple H, it also means unmatched presentation and scale.
