Triple H didn’t leave anything unsaid at the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame—especially when it came to Vince McMahon.

During his induction speech, after addressing his career, his family, and his journey to the top of WWE, Triple H paused to speak directly about the man who changed his life forever. “There’s one topic I’ve been avoiding all night. Vince McMahon,” he began. “It’s a complicated story, a complicated relationship, but I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for him.”

He made it clear the gratitude ran deeper than just business. “Not from a business perspective, for helping me integrate into the creative system, but in life. He’s my wife’s father. My daughters’ grandfather. It’s complicated,” he said. “When someone helps you that much, you owe them a lot. He taught me a lot about what to do and what not to do. Love you, Vince.”

The emotional moment capped off a night already full of memorable speeches and tributes—including one from Fred Ottman (Typhoon), who delivered a heartfelt message honoring his late tag team partner Earthquake, as The Natural Disasters were inducted.

Despite some chatter online about Booker T briefly dozing off during the ceremony, the attention quickly turned back to Triple H’s powerful words. His acknowledgment of Vince—especially with everything surrounding McMahon in recent years—stood out as one of the most raw, unfiltered moments of the night.
