Triple H was involved in a backstage shoot at WWE SmackDown today, with production capturing new material just hours before the June 6 broadcast from Dignity Health Arena in Bakersfield, California.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, “There was something of note filmed at SmackDown this afternoon.” The report noted that “Triple H was filming backstage at SmackDown for upcoming promotional materials. We’re told one of the lines was ‘anything worth doing, is worth doing twice.’”
A black SUV was reportedly set up specifically for the filming. While there’s no confirmation on what the material is for, its tone and setup suggest it may tie into future WWE promotional campaigns, potentially involving WrestleMania.
This took place ahead of a loaded SmackDown card, featuring Aleister Black vs. LA Knight, a six-woman tag match with Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, and Alexa Bliss vs. Naomi, Roxanne Perez, and Giulia, and a confrontation between Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso against John Cena and Logan Paul.
