Joe Hendry shocked the world when he answered Randy Orton’s open challenge at WrestleMania 41. Hendry was unable to beat The Viper in a solid match but now it appears Triple H has confirmed fans will see Hendry again, especially at a future WrestleMania.

While speaking during the post-show media scrum, Triple H praised Joe Hendry following his match at WrestleMania 41, saying it was the perfect opportunity to showcase his talents. He described Hendry as a great talent and entertainer, respectful of the business, and someone with a bright future.

Triple H stated that he was happy to place Hendry in that spot and give him exposure on a bigger platform. Just before Hendry walked out for his match, Triple H encouraged him by telling him to enjoy the moment, as the pressure would only grow from there. He added that this would be the easiest WrestleMania Hendry would experience, and that there would be more appearances at WrestleMania in his future.

“This was the perfect spot for it. I will say, I love Joe Hendry—he’s a great talent and entertainer, smart, and has respect for what we do. He’s got a bright future, and I was happy we could put him in this spot and showcase him on a bigger platform in the world. I told him right before he walked out, ‘You will be here again. Enjoy this one, because the pressure gets heavy from here. This will be the easiest WrestleMania you will do—and you will do more.'”

Following the conclusion of WrestleMania 41, Joe Hendry took to Twitter and reacted to his incredible showing against The Apex Predator, pointing out that he really did wrestle Orton at WrestleMania, saying, “I just wrestled Randy Orton at WrestleMania.”

Joe Hendry didn’t win at WrestleMania 41, but he definitely won the hearts of WWE fans —and Triple H. It was a huge moment with a lot of attention, and Hendry showed he belongs there. If Triple H’s comments mean anything, this is just the beginning of Hendry’s story in WWE as we will see him at WrestleMania again in the future.
