Trick Williams doesn’t just bring the energy in the ring—he’s bringing it in the booth, too.

During a recent appearance on The Battleground Podcast, the reigning TrickNA Champion opened up about how music fuels his wrestling persona and keeps his biggest rivalries personal.

When asked how music factors into his presentation across WWE and TNA, Trick didn’t hesitate. For him, music is more than an entrance theme—it’s a weapon.

“Man, music is the special nectar to life. You know what I mean? Everything feels better when you put some music on it. You know what I mean?”

But don’t expect every opponent to get a diss track. According to Trick, only the most meaningful rivalries get that treatment.

“And I like to label each feud with a diss track. Not each one—you have to be a special opponent to get a diss track. Everybody can’t get a diss track, let me say that.”

He brought up his previous lyrical shots at Joe Hendry and Mike Santana—releasing “Average Joe” and “Mike Who,” respectively—and teased that another track might be on the way.

“But, you know, when we look back in 10 years and we talking about this TrickNA title run, you know, we might pull back up the ‘Average Joe,’ we might pull back ‘Mike Who.’ You know, since we talking about it, I might drop a diss track this week.”

And with the locker room seemingly full of contenders lining up to take him down, Trick made it clear that someone’s about to catch a verbal jab soon.

“Seeing as how… seeing as how I don’t know who I should talk about, because the whole roster seems to have a problem with Trick Williams. I don’t know—somebody gonna get it. That’s all I’mma say.”

Music isn’t just part of Trick’s brand—it’s part of his legacy. He’s carving his title run into wrestling history one track at a time.
