TNA World Champion Trick Williams isn’t losing sleep over Joe Hendry and Mike Santana teaming up against him—at least not according to his latest comments.

During an interview on The Takedown with SI, Trick addressed the pressure heading into his triple threat title defense at Slammiversary. Hendry and Santana may have issues with each other, but the champ believes they’ve temporarily put their beef aside just to try and take him down. Trick didn’t mince words—he sees through the act and remains focused on doing what he does best: putting in the work and staying ready.

“Hey man, one punch at a time. You know, these are two guys who can’t stand each other, but for some reason they get along just to take out Trick Williams. But the truth is, you know, Trick Williams has taken out Mike Santana and I have taken out Joe Hendry. So all I got to do is trust what I know I can do.”

The champ made it clear that he’s not taking his foot off the gas—not for anyone.

“And know that’s why I work so hard, man. That’s why, man, I was training right before I got on this interview with you. And I’mma get back to training as soon as I’m done. You know what I mean? And that’s the difference. That’s what it takes.”

With his signature confidence and relentless drive, Trick Williams is locked in and treating this Slammiversary title defense like any other battle—just another chance to prove why TrickNA is real.

Trick’s words add even more heat to a night already packed with title matches and returns, including AJ Styles’ comeback and a winner-take-all showdown between Masha Slamovich and Jacy Jayne. Slammiversary 2025 goes down live from the UBS Arena on July 20th, streaming on TNA+.
