Trick Williams is already setting his sights on the biggest possible spot at WrestleMania 42, and he believes his recent momentum makes a strong case for it.

Williams recently appeared on SportsCenter to discuss his rapid rise since arriving on WWE SmackDown earlier this year. The WWE star has already made appearances in major events like the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber, and he’s now preparing for his first WrestleMania appearance in Las Vegas.

During the interview, the hosts pointed out that he has quickly become one of WWE’s most talked-about performers in 2026 and asked where he sees himself fitting on a stacked WrestleMania card. Williams didn’t hesitate to aim high.

“Hey man, if the WWE knows what's good, I should be in the main event. You know, I mean, I'm the hottest thing right now. Trick Williams is selling the tickets. Let's talk about it.”

The confident remark fits perfectly with Williams’ larger-than-life persona. Since his arrival on SmackDown, the former NXT standout has carried strong fan support with his “Whoop That Trick” chants and flashy presentation, quickly positioning himself as a performer WWE is clearly investing in.

WrestleMania 42 is set to take place in Las Vegas, and the card is expected to feature many of WWE’s biggest names. Still, Williams clearly believes his momentum and connection with fans put him in the conversation for a major role on the show.
