Trick Williams Calls “Average” Joe Hendry a “Dummy” Before TNA World Title Contract Signing

Trick Williams isn’t holding back ahead of his TNA World Championship contract signing against Joe Hendry tonight on WWE NXT.

Just hours before the show, WWE NXT’s Blake Howard caught up with Williams for an impromptu interview inside the Capitol Wrestling Center, and Trick had plenty to say.

“Yeah sure Blake, I wasn’t doing nothing,” Trick said, brushing off the interruption. Howard asked, “You got a contract signing tonight for the TNA heavyweight championship, what’s going through your mind?”

Williams didn’t mince words, firing off a verbal shot at Hendry. “Yeah, I got a contract, and you heard about it. Could you believe average Joe is gonna put his title on the line against me? What a dummy. He must have some kahunas. Cool, ‘cause I’m going to see him tonight with that contract and say everything I need to say to his face. Let’s talk about it.”

Williams’ comments come after Joe Hendry posted his own video hyping up the contract signing, vowing to get answers from Trick tonight on NXT. With both men now taking verbal shots at each other ahead of the Battleground showdown, tonight’s contract signing segment is shaping up to be a must-watch.
