Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa are about to bring chaos to Prime Video — and the official trailer for their new action comedy The Wrecking Crew has finally been released.
Set to premiere on January 28, the Ángel Manuel Soto-directed film stars Bautista as a hardened Navy SEAL and Momoa as his unpredictable half-brother, a reckless local cop. The two must reluctantly team up to investigate their father’s mysterious death while dealing with a violent threat from the Yakuza on the island of Hawaii.
The trailer, which made its debut on social media, teased plenty of high-speed action, brotherly brawls, and explosive stunts. Prime Video promoted it with the tagline:
“They fight like brothers. They wreck like legends. Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista star in The Wrecking Crew, coming January 28.”
The two-minute preview showcases a blend of comedy, family tension, and outrageous mayhem — with Bautista and Momoa’s chemistry front and center. The trailer also gives a quick look at other major cast members, including Morena Baccarin (Deadpool) and Jacob Batalon (Spider-Man: No Way Home), adding more star power to the lineup.
In addition to the trailer, a new poster was also released, featuring Bautista and Momoa standing on a crumbling road, symbolizing the trail of destruction the two leave behind. With two of Hollywood’s most charismatic action stars teaming up, The Wrecking Crew looks like a wild ride when it hits Prime Video later this month.
