Torrie Wilson has always been known for maintaining her dignity in an era where boundaries were often tested in WWE storylines.
During her appearance on SHAK Wrestling, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed one particularly outrageous idea she thankfully never had to deal with—but learned about years after the fact.
When asked if any uncomfortable pitches ever came her way, Torrie said nothing major ever made it to her directly. But she recalled reading something eye-opening in former WWE writer Brian Gewirtz’s book that stopped her cold.
“No. I mean, I did read in—I think it was Brian Gerwitz’s book—that there was a storyline about someone wanting me to be like naked out there, which never would have happened. I never would have done that. But that was the first time I’ve ever heard of that.”
Torrie clarified she was never officially pitched the idea and found out long after her in-ring career. As for other uncomfortable situations, she said she learned how to navigate them by staying firm and tweaking the material into something she could live with.
“Anytime I really felt uncomfortable, I would say I just don’t or I do it in my own way so that it was not as crazy.”
The interview gave fans a reminder of how much talent like Torrie had to walk a fine line during WWE’s more controversial years—balancing performance expectations with personal values in a high-pressure environment.
