Rhea Ripley won’t be at WWE Raw on February 17, but she has a pretty solid reason—she’s officially on her honeymoon with Buddy Matthews.

The Women’s World Champion confirmed the news herself on Instagram, sharing an update after being spotted at AEW Grand Slam: Australia, where Matthews competed against Kazuchika Okada.

Ripley has been on top of WWE’s women’s division since reclaiming her title from Liv Morgan on the January 6, 2025, premiere of Raw on Netflix. She later defended the championship against Nia Jax at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 25 and is now waiting to see who wins the Women’s Elimination Chamber match on March 1—because that’s who she’ll be defending against at WrestleMania 41.

While Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, Damian Priest, GUNTHER, Xavier Woods, and Kofi Kingston are all set to appear on the upcoming Raw, Ripley will be sitting this one out. However, she’s already confirmed to return on February 24, when she’ll be back alongside GUNTHER, Liv Morgan, Bron Breakker, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods.

The Women’s Elimination Chamber match is also shaping up, with Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Bayley, and Naomi already qualifying. One final spot remains, and the winner of that match will earn the chance to challenge Ripley at WrestleMania 41 on April 19 & 20, 2025.
