Hiroshi Tanahashi announced via Twitter that he has resigned with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
“Contract renewal with New Japan Wrestling. I will do my best next year too!”
Tanahashi is a seven-time IWPG Heavyweight Champion and has set the record for the most IWGP Heavyweight Title reigns.
