AEW All Out is taking place on September 20th, but it’s missing some big stars due to injuries and some people claimed AEW can’t book a good card without them. Unsurprisingly, Tony Schavione has now gone after these same critics with an apt response.

While speaking on the What Happened When podcast, Tony Schiavone fired back at critics who claimed AEW couldn’t build a strong All Out card with Kenny Omega unavailable and both Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland out with injuries.

Schiavone pointed out that AEW’s deep roster, loaded with around 14 top-level stars, makes it more than capable of delivering a stacked event even with major names sidelined.

“It’s funny because, Tony, the critics were saying a few weeks ago, well, with Kenny Omega hurt and Will Ospreay out and Swerve Strickland, can they even put together a competitive card?

So, the critics were saying that we weren’t going to have a good card. They said, with three of your top guys out, how can you possibly carry on? Well, the answer is have about 14 top guys.”

Schiavone also stated that critics should try booking a card themselves to see how hard it is, making it clear AEW doesn’t depend on just a few wrestlers and that the negative talk doesn’t bother him.

“Why don’t we do this—why don’t we get one of those critics on here and have them book a card for us? See how they come up with one. I’m all for that. Find them, bring them on, have them book a card. And as we have them book a card, have them go f*** themselves, too. How’s that sound?”

Tony Schiavone’s response shows how confident AEW is in its roster and plans for All Out 2025. Even with Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay, and Swerve Strickland out, he made it clear AEW still has plenty of top stars and creative ideas to put on another memorable show. So we’ll have to see whether All Out will surpass all expectations in the end.

Do you agree with Tony Schiavone that AEW can easily deliver a stacked All Out card without some of its biggest stars? Sound off in the comments.
