AEW President Tony Khan spoke with the wrestling media on Thursday March 12, 2026, to promote Saturday’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view.

Tony Khan was asked if MyAEW could eventually become a domestic pay-per-view provider in addition to its international role, especially with uncertainty surrounding AEW’s future with Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery.

Khan said he has a great relationship with Paramount through his NFL ties and also praised David Ellison, saying he thinks very highly of him. He also made it clear that the MyAEW platform has nothing to do with AEW’s relationship with WBD. According to Khan, MyAEW is focused on reaching international fans and is currently available in 150 countries worldwide. He added that AEW’s domestic strategy is centered on directing fans to HBO Max for pay-per-view events, though other providers are still available as well.

Asked about Brody King gaining attention outside the wrestling bubble through media coverage, Tony Khan said it’s great for people to express themselves. He added that King has fan support all over the world because he’s a fantastic wrestler.

Asked about the Hangman Page world title stipulation for Sunday, Tony Khan said Page has a chance to make history. He noted that similar stipulations haven’t worked out for others in the past, mentioning Cody Rhodes as an example.

Tony Khan praised Willow Nightingale, calling her one of AEW’s best wrestlers and noting that she has risen to become a top champion.

Asked if Big Boom AJ could set the tone for future celebrities making repeat appearances in AEW, Tony Khan pointed to AJ’s wrestling background and said many people don’t realize he has experience in the ring.

Khan added that everyone in AEW is aware of the influence AJ has in bringing new fans to the product, especially when Big Justice and The Rizzler appear with him. He said everyone enjoys having them around.

Tony Khan said MJF vs. Hangman Adam Page is a rivalry he believes could headline AEW for many years.

A follow-up question asked Tony Khan what he thinks about people who believe the Paramount/WBD merger could be bad for AEW. Khan said he believes the merger will actually be huge for AEW. He added that he expects AEW to remain with TBS and TNT for a long time.

Tony Khan said he would love for AEW to be on Paramount alongside UFC. He added that he has a great relationship with Dana White.

Tony Khan circled back to the Paramount discussion and said he’s excited about the potential for AEW to be on a platform that carries the NFL.

Tony Khan said Ring of Honor currently has revenue coming in through its existing distribution model. He added that he’s navigating the media landscape and would be open to a deal if the right opportunity comes along, but he’s happy with where things stand right now.

Tony Khan praised Megan Bayne as someone he has always believed had strong potential. He said AEW first looked at her years ago, but she suffered an injury at the time, though she remained on the company’s radar. Khan added that in every situation she’s been placed in since then, she has excelled.
